Day 5 - Adding a sparkle
For Day 5, the tangles were Printemps & Isochor, and the idea was to play with sparkles. Sparkles are tangle enhancers. You basically draw a line, leave a gap, and draw another line. You end up with a little chink of light (a sparkle) adding some more interest.
Here’s what we created. Ian's is on the left, mine is on the right. I love how Ian added the little black orbs to his.

I enjoyed playing with this. I do use Printemps a lot as it's a great filler and texture tangle. It's interesting playing with just two tangles, I tend to do more is more, rather than less is more lol. I am working on that though!
We won’t be sharing the complete lessons here, because you really should get the book—it’s a total gem. You can find it here on Amazon*. Affiliate link alert: I may earn a small commission if you use it, at no cost to you.
That doesn’t mean you can’t join in, though. Just play with the idea shared, e.g., in this case, use the two patterns, Printemps and Isochor, and add a bit of sparkle.
I hope you’re joining along with us, even if you don’t share. It’s a great book!
👠 Wanna play too? It's never too late to start!
Let me know if you’re joining in. Come and share your tiles in my Tangletastic Facebook group. We’d love to see what you create!
