My name is Ruby McGuire. I'm a Brit, who relocated to Scotland in 2018. I live in a rural area near the sea, with my hubby, little dog Daisy and four chickens.
I'm an Accredited Master Coach and Accredited Master Mentor at Rock Your Fabulous Biz. By day, I empower solopreneurs to conquer business challenges, from sales and marketing strategies to mindset blocks. Outside of business, I'm addicted to Zentangle—an art form that brings mindfulness without needing artistic expertise. I will 'tangle' in every spare moment I get, and I want to tell the world about it as it's SO good for mental health and calming your mind!
Over a decade ago, Zentangle caught my eye during a casual Pinterest scroll. It became my peaceful escape from the chaos of entrepreneurship—a place where time melts away in intricate patterns. During tough times, it became my solace, restoring balance. I practice a 'slow living' way of life, which Zentangle philosophies fit perfectly into. Now, as a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), this art form continues to transform my life.
As you'll see on this website, I also make hand-made cards in my spare time. I'm an Altenew Certified Educator (an expert-level formal crafter education programme).
All endeavours are fuelled by cappuccino, preferably Whittard Vanilla! (a UK-based company).

My mission to help the homeless
I'm on a mission to help the homeless in my own little way. As part of that, £3 from every workshop will go towards purchasing pens and cards to introduce the homeless to tangling. Zentangle can help their mental health and wellbeing, add some social interaction and give them something to sell. Help me to help the homeless, 'one stroke at a time'.
