Join us on our imperfect 42-day Adventure with ‘One Zentangle a Day’

If you didn’t see my initial post, click here to learn more about what this is all about.
It turns out I can’t count, lol. I had written 30-Time Adventure, which is six weeks of content, so it’s 42 days.
Overlapping Designs - Day 3 of the One Zentangle a Day book by Beckah Krahula
For Day 3, the tangles were: Pokeroot, Festune and Hollibaugh. Ian added a little Printemps in grey for the overlapping design element.
When I started tangling, I found it challenging to layer the tangles. I would overthink what I should do next. Now, I settle into the process and allow my pen to guide me. When I do that, I’m much more in the zone, and definitely in a better zen place!

I ran a workshop on 15th July, where we will create this tile:

It was so much fun. I had a relatively new tangler join, and she created this having only been tangling for a couple of months! Didn’t she do well?

This is what I love about Zentangle. It is a case of one single line at a time, and you can create some gorgeous pieces of work.
NB. We won’t be sharing the complete lessons here, because you really should get the book—it’s a total gem. You can find it here on Amazon*. Affiliate link alert: I may earn a small commission if you use it, at no cost to you.
That doesn’t mean you can’t join in, though - take the theme and make something from that using the patterns I’ve shared.
This Adventure is not about rushing to complete the 6 weeks; it’s about taking our time and enjoying the process mindfully.
👠 Wanna play too?
Let me know if you’re joining in. Come and share your tiles in my Tangletastic Facebook group. We’d love to see what you create!
