Week 1 - Tangletastic Challenge

Hello, Tanglers! 🎉

Wooooohoooooo! It’s Day 1 of the Tangletastic Challenge! ✨🖤🤍

We’re starting bold and classic with pure black ink on a white tile, whatever size you like.

Your challenge for today:⭐

Use 1 - 5 tangles from the list below (We're starting simple):

1. Hollibaugh - link for pattern here

4. Bales - link for pattern here

⭐ You may use all 5 tangles or just 1, but you must stay within this set.

⭐ Keep it pure black on white.

⭐ Use only standard shading.

That’s it! No frills, no colour, no fancy extras. Just you, your pen, and these classic tangles.

Here's what I created using a string idea I learned at the recent Zenjo Retreat in Glasgow.

I decided to break 'the rules' of Hollibaugh on the middle left one and drew over them all, it was really fun to do!
