Brilliant Butterflies

Today I'm sharing a card with you for the MFT Colour Challenge. I used the Brilliant Butterflies set.

This is a set that I'd had on my wish list for a long, long time and it finally came back into stock a while back.

The card came together pretty quickly, unlike my die cut one from the other day haha.

I cut a panel of lime cardstock for the Prickly Pear using my Heffy Doodle Metric Stitched Rectangle EU Size Dies, which I attached to a 5 x 7-inch card base.

I then die cut a heart in white from Concord & 9th's Triple Step Blooming Heart Die and adhered this to the lime base. Using the same die I cut some little starbursts in grey for the Gravel Grey of the challenge.

I stamped the butterfly (and many other butterflies - they are VERY addictive to make!!) in Altenew mini ink cubes. I used Fuschia and Baby Pink from the Spring Bouquet 6 Mini Cube Set for the Poppin' Pink and Princess Pink challenge colours.

I die cut a black banner from the Triple Step Blooming Heart Die set, that I cut in half and stuck directly onto the white die-cut heart, to make it a bit longer so that I could stretch it behind the butterfly, and then added the Altenew Label Love words, Hello and How R U in black. I attached both the words and butterfly with some pop dots and added some Little Things From Lucy's Cards Jewels - Clear Iridescent Mix gems to finish.

Hope you're having a lovely day. We've had a sprinkling of snow here, not enough to make a snowman, maybe just a snow fairy as my friend said!!

Thanks for popping by!
